WORCESTER MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026, SPONSORED BY SUTCLIFFE & CO, RETURNS WITH NEW VENUE

Worcester Music Festival, now in its 18th year, has announced the addition of Huntingdon Hall to its line-up of venues for 2026. The iconic city-centre venue joins over 20 other locations across Worcester, with 300 artists and over 340 performances taking place throughout the weekend of 11th to 13th September.

Returning as a proud sponsor for the second consecutive year, Sutcliffe & Co Insurance Brokers is once again supporting the voluntary, not-for-profit festival and its commitment to celebrating live music and emerging talent.

The addition of Huntingdon Hall will provide artists with an exciting new platform to perform, while also broadening the range of music genres and experiences available to festival-goers. The venue is expected to further strengthen community engagement and attract even more audiences to performances throughout the weekend.

Worcester Music Festival has chosen Onside as this year’s charity, a Worcestershire and Herefordshire charity providing a wide range of support and services to promote fairness and equality for adults who may be vulnerable, disadvantaged or discriminated against.

Duncan Sutcliffe, Managing Director of Sutcliffe & Co says, “This year’s Worcester Music Festival is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet. The addition of Huntingdon Hall means even more artists will have the opportunity to take centre stage and showcase the next generation of musical talent.

“We are also thrilled that Onside has been selected as this year’s charity. They provide invaluable support and services to people experiencing a range of challenges, including mental and physical ill health, sensory impairment, learning disabilities, drug and alcohol misuse, as well as supporting older people and carers.”

“Worcester Music Festival once again brings together community values and live music in a perfect blend, and we are delighted to be part of it.”

Ant Robbins, Director of Worcester Music Festival explains, “Worcester Music Festival are delighted to be able to add the prestigious Huntingdon Hall to our line-up this year. This has given us an opportunity to offer young artists from Worcestershire Rock School a chance to perform in a major venue during the afternoon. While in the evening offering an eclectic folk-punk evening, with nationally known artists.”

A festival with a community at its heart

Since its foundation, Worcester Music Festival has raised £82,639.85 for 22 charities, supporting numerous local causes through its commitment to making live music accessible to people of all ages.

As a voluntary, not-for-profit event, the festival relies on the generosity and support of the local community, including Worcester Theatres, whose support enables Huntingdon Hall to become part of this year’s festival.

The festival also forms part of ‘Worcester’s Big Weekend’, taking place alongside Worcester City Runs from 11th to 13th September. With both events attracting 20,000 visitors from across the region, raising around £100,000 a year for charities, Worcester is set to be buzzing with activity as the city celebrates a weekend of music, running and community.
